One of the most commented integrations into the Wazza website is our web-activated telephone system.  While this technology has been around for a little while now the fact that we have used it as more than just a ‘Contact Us’ button is what has had people talking.  We decided early on that for our system to really benefit job seekers they would need to be able to retain their anonymity.  From this came the idea of using click-to-call technology as a means for an employer to contact a job seeker instantly without ever discovering the job seekers identity.

Our search for service providers was very thorough.  We began by contacting service providers one by one but after weeks of continued frustration we decided to do a mass mail-out and contact all the reputable service providers we could find.  In all we contacted over 200 different providers throughout Australia and internationally.  The responses (other than the number of providers who didn’t respond at all) weren’t staggering to say the least.  In fact many providers simply treated our idea with disdain.

Then came Jajah.com.  Jajah (based in Mountain View California) was still in its first year of operation yet they enthusiaticly greeted the partnership.  While most international providers gave Australia very little notice the co-operation we received from Jajah to improve call quality was very encouraging.  Our developers worked side by side with developers from Jajah to build a system that would enable employers to contact job seekers via click to call telephony and Web SMS text messaging.
